The design on our homepage is a concrete skatepark co-designed by leaders of our design team - Damon Spohn, Brad Siedlecki, and Andrew Kondrat. Originally designed for a municipal skatepark in Corrales, NM; this park has been hailed as a perfect model for the modern skatepark.
Designed for the SpohnCrete system of precast concrete skateparks, this design incorporates street, plaza and bowl features into a park that serves both beginner and advanced skaters. The bowls are opened up, making them accessible to all skaters while still providing complex lines for core users.
Damon Spohn - Damon has building and designing skateparks for over 20 years. As a skater, he specializes in designing parks that are accessible to beginners and complex enough to keep advanced skaters coming back. Damon currently serves as Head of Design for Spohn Ranch Skateparks.
Brad Siedlecki - Brad helped design many of the top skateparks in the world, including the DC SkatePlaza in Kettering, OH and the Goodyear Skatepark of Goodyear, AZ. Always original, Brad is solidifying his position in the top tier of skatepark designers. Brad is the principal partner in Pillar Design Studios of Tempe, AZ.
Andrew
Kondrat - Andrew is one of the masterminds behind the SpohnCrete
system. Able to translate his skating skills into better designs is what
makes Andrew a top designer. As the creative force behind Barkman Concrete's
Skate Concept line, Andrew is thrilled to have the construction and installation
experts at Spohn Ranch as partners in making a concrete skatepark possible
for every community.
