trueride ramp equipment
In 1992, Spohn Ranch began designing and building skateboard and BMX ramp courses for nationally-televised competitions, including the X-Games, Vans Triple Crown and Boost Mobile contest series. After setting the standard in ramps, we have consistently redefined it with every new version of our ramp equipment.
In addition to our unparalleled experience in manufacturing skatepark equipment, what sets Spohn Ranch’s TrueRide skateparks apart is the quality of our product and our tradition of service. Since 1992, we have been diligently working to design our products with the best materials, the highest standards of engineering for safety and durability, and a focus on preventing the word “modular” from limiting the creativity of our skatepark designs.
SUPERIOR MATERIALS & ENGINEERING
For almost 20 years, we have been exclusively dedicated to the art of skatepark manufacturing. During this time we have developed an unmatched knowledge of how to successfully build equipment that will provide skaters and BMXers with the perfect ride, while being able to withstand the harshest of skatepark environments. All of our skatepark elements pass rigorous inspections during fabrication for safety and durability. We have also worked side-by-side with the nation’s top engineers to design our systems with structurally sound engineering principals and the highest quality materials.
ADVANCED FABRICATION METHODOLOGY
While materials and techniques vary between product lines, our dedication to creating the highest quality equipment stands firm. All of our equipment is designed in three-dimensional space prior to manufacturing, providing us with accurate models to build from. With our advanced 3D modeling software, we are able to feed information from the model directly into the computer-controlled routers which precision-cut all of our parts. These state-of-the-art techniques give us the diversity to not only build any obstacle we can dream up, they also ensure we are producing defect-free parts every time. This kind of precision equates to less maintenance and a smooth ride for skaters.
ATTENTION TO DETAIL
When it comes to skatepark equipment, attention to detail is paramount. Skateboarding requires a fast, smooth surface for an uninterrupted ride. With this experience in mind, we have specifically utilized manufacturing techniques which eliminate the kinds of exposed lips and protruding edges that can create a difficult skating experience and pose serious safety hazards. With bowled-corner construction, for example, we developed a precise mathematical formula that is fed into our computer-controlled router, which then produces pieces with consistent seams and a perfect fit.
