The learning curve of skaters of all ages was taken into consideration for the design, because the park would facilitate classes for all levels of riders. Extensive design work with the riders in the community was also a factor. The balance between skateboarder’s and biker’s preferred equipment needed to be maintained. It was also a phased project.
