Michael K. Green Skatepark Becomes Valuable Community Asset

The Michael K. Green Skatepark in Long Beach, California was completed in January and has quickly become a vibrant recreational space for Long Beach’s top skaters, as well as those who are just learning to ride.

We stopped by the park yesterday for a quick session and had a great time skating with almost 50 skaters from the Long Beach community. It was very clear from being around the kids, that this skatepark is having a very positive effect on the community and its youth.  The Michael K. Green Skatepark is a hybrid-style park consisting of ramp equipment and unique concrete features. One of our favorite parts of this park is the extra-wide TrueRide HD mini-ramp.

In case you missed out on the grand opening in January, check out this great clip from The District Weekly.
