Laramie Park Skatepark

Cicero, IL

The Town of Cicero, located just southwest of downtown Chicago, has developed a new community park at the intersection of 18th St and S Laramie Ave.

The Laramie Park Extension contains a new animal welfare shelter, a dog park, sand volleyball courts, baseball diamond, soccer field and a skateboard park.

The skatepark elements contrasts against the other heavy street skateparks of Chicago, by providing a group of bowls with connections between each section, and the height ranging from 3’ – 6’. It opens the doors for all skateboarders with varying experience level to transition from one bowl to the next without any major commitment.

The bowl is accented by a small street area featuring a handful of ledges and manual pads. The Laramie Skatepark is now open. Tag your photos #LaramieSkatepark
