SKATEPARK CONSTRUCTION AT MONITOR PARK IN LOS ANGELES

Our latest Los Angeles skatepark build, in the Watts neighborhood, is charging ahead as the construction crew wraps up concrete work this week.  The 6,000 square foot skatepark is a collaboration with EPT Design and the Trust for Public Land and is expected to wrap construction in the coming weeks. The skatepark is just one component of a larger revitalization project however, so skating will unfortunately not be allowed until construction of the entire park is complete.

Throughout the build we are collaborating with WorkSource California to provide in-the-field training for Watts youth who are carving a path of positivity and productivity as an alternative to the gangs, crime and drugs that dominate their community.

Stay tuned for construction updates and grand opening info!
