If you thought about the City of Anaheim, most of you will think of Disneyland otherwise known as “The Happiest Place on Earth.”

Well thanks to the gracious donation of Disney, the second happiest place on earth is now Schweitzer Park in Anaheim. Spohn Ranch having worked with Anaheim previously on the wildly successful Palm Lane Skatepark, was clearly the experienced choice for both design and construction of the new Schwietzer Park. A beautiful 5,000 square foot state of the art skatepark is now immersed deep within a maple tree filled park complete with basketball & baseball areas and a children’s playground.

Design of the circular skatepark footprint complied with Anaheim & Disney’s desire to keep the large 20 year old tree rooted in the center of the skatepark. But upon building we found the roots made it impossible to complete the build, in which sadly we were forced to remove the entire tree and replant a new sapling tree.

The skatepark is currently now open ready for hours of enjoyment.
