PAGE, ARIZONA ADDS SKATEPARK TO ICONIC LANDSCAPE

The City of Page, Arizona’s 3 million annual visitors can soon add state-of-the-art concrete skatepark to their vacation itineraries. After being selected via a nationwide search for skatepark design/build firms, then executing a comprehensive design process, Spohn Ranch has officially begun construction on the Page Skatepark.

Located in the northwest corner of John C. Page Memorial Park, the skatepark design was shaped by a series of design workshops with local skateboarders and BMX bike riders. The site’s challenging topography, including nearly 10 feet of elevation change, also heavily influenced the design.

The final skatepark blends intelligently into the site and features a variety of terrain including a 5’ – 7’ bowl, street elements like rails and ledges and a flowing snake run that pays homage to Page’s iconic “Horseshoe Bend”. Knowing the skatepark would become a destination for both the community and tourists, we elevated the space with an LED lighting system, shade structures, a drinking fountain, spectator seating and ADA access pathways.

We’re honored to contribute to Page’s beautiful landscape and can’t wait to bring this concrete work of art to life.

Stay tuned for construction updates!
