Victorville Skatepark Under Construction at Doris Davies Park

The long overdue Victorville Skatepark is officially under construction at Doris Davies Park.

Spohn Ranch’s years of hard work began with a feasibility study and site selection process in 2015. After evaluating several potential sites, Doris Davies Park was recommended as the best location for Victorville’s first skatepark due to its visibility, existing infrastructure and wide-open design canvas.

A comprehensive skatepark design process then resulted in a state-of-the-art concrete skatepark that will become one of Victorville’s most well-used facilities, as well as a great pit stop for wheel sports athletes traveling up and down Interstate 15.

Clocking in at 15,000 square feet, the Victorville Skatepark cascades from south to the north via a series of elevation changes and winding embankments. The south end of the site is anchored by a 6’-8’ deep bowl with a combination of steel and pool coping. A variety of street elements including stairs, rails and ledges flow northward and ensure the terrain speaks to all skill levels and riding styles.

Skatepark construction is currently underway and scheduled for October completion. Stay tuned for updates and grand opening information!
